Bite-sized science essays with a soul. Yes, a copy editor should have proofed this book (dear god, where have all the copy editors gone???), but Sanders covers a huge range of topics in brief packages. Perfect for someone who is interested in science but does not necessarily want to cozy up with a textbook.

I love this article. I feel like I’m 12 years old some days and cannot for the life of me figure out why a bank entrusted me with a mortgage. Turns out I’m not alone. Note that this was published under a different title in the online version of The Atlantic.
