Caught the sun in a spider’s web on a foggy morning in June.

The higgledy-piggledy spiderwebs on the fence reminded me of the recently discovered filaments in the center of the Milky Way.

One big blue eye peeking through the clouds

I think this is a male common five-lined skink. It must be breeding season: his head is reddish/orange.

That is one weird looking cloud floating a bit above the horizon. Looks a little like a luminous top.

This may be musk thistle. Invasive but beautiful.
